About Me

making landscaping beautiful and beneficial

Landscaping your yard could be more beneficial than you think. The landscaping can actually be more than just beautiful - it could be effective in controlling water flow and pests in your yard. How do you create a landscape design that will be both beautiful and beneficial? Are some plants better and more hardy than others? How do you choose what plants to place where? How much hardscape does your design need? These and many other landscaping questions are answered on my website. Take a moment to read up on my personal experiences and learn from what I have been through in the past.

How To Get Your Baseball Stadium Ready For The Season

If you own or manage a baseball stadium you know that having regular games isn't just about having good teams play but it's also about creating an environment that everyone will want to be in. From having your turf taken care of on a regular basis to having a good snack stand setup, there are a few different things that you will want to consider having done before you open for the season.

Hire a Turf Management Service

Having turf that is pristine, cut right, and that will continue to thrive through the season is a must, but it's not necessarily easy to do. When you hire a turf management company, they will take care of your turf on your baseball field at least once a week to make sure that it is growing well, that it's cut properly, and that it looks good overall. By making adjustments with your sprinkler system, with the lawnmower they use, and the fertilizer they put on the field, they should be able to make your baseball field look like it is right out of a movie. Talk with a turf management company about what they can do.

Have Clean Seats

While you may have stands that are a little bit old and rickety, as long as they are clean and safe, you should be good to go. Before the season starts, have them professionally power washed to get off any dirt, grime, bird poop, or anything else. Then, after every game, hire someone to hose off the stands to get rid of food or drinks that spilled, dirt, and anything else that's on them. As long as sports fans have a clean and safe space to sit, they should be able to enjoy every game as comfortably as possible.

Have a Snack Stand

You don't have to go all out in order to have a snack stand that people will love. In fact, if you are just starting out, you can sell things like cans of cold soda and water, bags of popcorn, granola bars, and even some candy. Then, as your stadium grows and you have more money, you can start a bigger snack stand that has favorites like hot dogs and warm pretzels.

When your baseball field is green, you have clean stands for people to sit on, and you have snacks for everyone to enjoy, then you know that you can adhere to all of your baseball fans and keep the crowd coming.
